Senator PJ Kachmar, Class of 2011
P.J. Kachmar ‘11 (Kingston, Pennsylvania) is a Political Science and Philosophy Major in the SJLA Program at the University of Scranton. While this is Kachmar’s first year on Student Senate, he brings with him a wealth of leadership experience. He currently is an intern at Senator Arlen Specter’s Scranton Office, the Assistant Varsity Coach/Head JV Coach/Director of Player Development for Wyoming Valley West Spartan Ice Hockey, a President’s Alumni Liason, and involved in several other activities. He also served as Student Government President during his senior year of high school at Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School. Kachmar’s interests outside of school include hockey, independent music, reading, and politics.
