William Pugh IV

William Pugh IV serves as Executive Treasurer of Student Government.   The Executive Treasurer serves five key functions.

(1) Advise the Appropriations Committee.
(2) Be responsible for making regular reports to the Executive Officers and the Student Senate regarding the SG Budget.
(3) Prepare financial summaries at the beginning and end of each fiscal year to file in the SG office.
(4) Advise in the allocation and distribution of SG funds to student organizations.
(5) Assist student organizations with regard to University paperwork and procedures.

The Executive Treasurer acts as a resource for student organizations and clubs in matters relating to SG appropriated funds.

Priorities

• Automate the budgeting process so as to eliminate inefficiencies and increase accuracy.
• Encourage clubs to fund raise so as to avoid over reliance on SG appropriated funds.
• Revamp the Club Chartering process.
