Office of the Director of Communications
Patricia Cermignano
Patricia Cermignano is a junior Marketing major with minors in Communications and Spanish. She is from Ardmore, Pennsylvania; a town located right outside of Philadelphia. At the University of Scranton, Patricia is very involved in campus life. For example, she is the Treasurer of the Advertising Club and was a leader of the 2009 F.I.R.S.T. retreat. Additionally, Patricia is an active participant in community service within both the school and Scranton communities. This is Patricia’s first year on Student Government.
Patricia serves as the Director of Communications for The University of Scranton Student Government. As Director of Communications, Patricia is responsible for organizing Student Government events such as the Fall and Spring Elections, Midnight Madness, and Street Sweeps. The Director of Communications also communicates and advertises all Student Government events to the school community and the surrounding Scranton area.
Priorities
- Keep students and local community updated on Student Government run events.
- Advertise events throughout the school through the use of the iTower, Royal News, Aquinas, and flyers.
- Inform the media about Student Government events through writing press releases and media alerts.

T/R: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Office hours are held in the Student Government Office in The DeNaples Center 205R in the Student Forum.
