Gaming Devices on the University’s Residential Network (“Resnet”)

This year, for the first time, The University of Scranton’ Residential Network (“Resnet”) supports online gaming for many of your favorite gaming devices. To do this you must first register your device at this link: http://regdev.scranton.edu. Follow the instructions after you sign in on the site.

Please keep the following things in mind when setting everything up:

  • Before doing anything, make sure an Ethernet cord is connected from your wall jack to your gaming counsel.
  • Make sure you turn your system off after you find you wired MAC address and enter it on the registration page. Do not turn it on until you receive your confirmation email.
  • If your system does not connect online after you received your confirmation email give it some time. If many people are registering at once it may take a while.
  • If it still does not connect online after all is said and done call the Technology Support Center at (570) 941-4357. They are great people and will gladly help you out if you are courteous and respectful.
